A Great Effort by Lewis
On June 10th Lewis Smith completed a sponsored walk to raise money for Humbledon Outdoor Activities Association. He walked 11 miles from his home in Hetton to Penshaw Monument and back, joined by his carer Victoria. Lewis raised over £180 through this challenge.
Since joining HOAA in January 2025, Lewis has become a committed member. He takes part in regular walks, attended the Yorkshire Dales residential activity weekend in March and even competed in the York canoe race.
In July, Lewis visited Richmond Castle with HOAA. During the visit, all the members and supporters gave Lewis a big “Thank you” for his hard work and dedication. HOAA is truly grateful for everything he’s done and is proud to have him in our group.
