The 1851 census shows Robert Moore as a miller here. Though ten years later he was described as a cartman. (A son, Henry Moore, was born to Hannah (28) in Callerton on 21 November, 1848 when Robert was 41. Henry married Isabella Hart in Newcastle upon Tyne in January 1872.)
